Bucket List Boxing

Fundraising that packs a punch

From August to November every year, the Ford’s Gym team welcomes a whole other class of boxers to our ranks. All new to the sport, training to sharpen their skills in the ring and achieve optimal fitness results, a group of up-and-coming boxers will learn, sweat, and train together for their moment in the limelight at the annual Bucket List Boxing event.

Coached by our foundation’s president, Andrea Nelson, our Bucket List boxers will be matched up evenly for age, weight, and experience and square off with their opponents. For three rounds, they’ll put their training to the test in the ring in front of booming speakers, a panel of USA Boxing judges, and the thunder of another sell out crowd! It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The Bucket List Boxing event is our largest charitable fundraiser every year, thanks to the friends, family, and coworkers who come to see the spectacle. All funds go to the Bob Lynch Boxing Foundation to support our mission of making amateur boxing accessible to young athletes in Madison and beyond.
